Proposal for pick and place PCB design and schematic development: Pick and place systems require high levels of precision and you would most probably need a motor driver circuit or a 3 channel servo driver with rotary encoder feedback to ensure precision. The robot might need movement in 2 dimensions or even in 3 but once we decide on an implementation, we can move to schematic design which includes expert design recommendations, component selection, functionality adjustments and much more. We can divide the project into phases: 1. The design phase where desired featureset is decided and the method of moving the actuator arm is decided on. 2. The prototype phase where we discuss our Hardware implementation and the components we need (can reverse engineer existing designs) along with power supply design, pcb sizing, pcb layer stackup and the copper weights along with connectors etc 3. The schematic and PCB development which I will do in Altium 2023 which is the most advanced software for PCB designing.
