I have a [login to view URL] and forgot my password. I changed the user name and password from admin/admin to new user name and password. Since I forgot the password I tried the Password Retrieval feature, but I did not receive an email with the new password or password change. I do not think I had the smtp and other settings, or email password saved in my blogengine settings.
I tried looking at the [login to view URL] file, as well as settings file but could not find where to change the password manually.
My blogengine is running from its original XML (not with the SQL database option).
I would like to get this resolved today. I do not want to give you direct access to my server or my site files. Instead, I will let you use TeamViewer as remote desktop so I can see you fix the file correctly on my dedicated server from my computer.
Hello,
This can be easily fixed.
All that needs to be done is for you to upload the [login to view URL] file to your server for a reset.
Once you pick me for this project will provide you with all of the info you need.
I will not need access to your server.
You can do all of the steps yourself very easy.
Looking forward in working with you.
