Shoutcast Scrapper Purpose : capture currently playing song on each station and storing in a MySQL database Database structure ID I source type I station name I Artist name I song Title I listeners I time/date stamp Sample of where info is at [login to view URL] see image [login to view URL] see image other important notes. * no duplicate entrys. script should check last record for this same station and if song is the same is should not record it in the database * this script will need to be able to handle thousands of station at the same time and check every minute. * this script will have to check text file for list of stations. text file will have one station link per line i will give a VPS your choice as long that is a good one and you will install all nessecery software Ex. MySQL Pyton any other that you may need
