I have this mostly ready for you. I've integrated zxing into my app and it does pretty much what you're asking for. So the user doesn't need any other external scan app. Now I didn't modify the zxing part a bit, so you'll find that the scan activity where the camera is activated and a scan layout that is drawn on top looks exactly like the one in the zxing app. If you want it to look customized that will take an extra time, and I'll charge more for that too. If you just want something ready and quickly this is what I have.

I have worked previously on creating app that scans a QR code/bar code and then opens google search to show the search results for the product code contained in that QR code/bar code. I can provide you a prototype that will scan a QR code and if the QR code contains a website url, it will open the url in browser. Do you want a webview inside the app or do you want the url to be opened by any browser installed on device ? Let me know. Hi, I have recently created an app that reads QR code. As soon as the app opens, camera gets switched on and then scans the code. We can perform whatever process we need to do, as soon as information stored in QR is decoded. Please allow me to work on this. Thanks Akhil
