MS Access Login Screen

Scope of work: Create a logon form in MS Access 365. Requirements: 1. Logon can reference either MS SQL backend or linked tables at the programmer’s discretion 2. Users will be assigned roles that grant permissions to forms, buttons. 3. Logon password must be masked and if possible encrypted 4. Logon credentials must persist and be able to be called on all forms 5. Similar to a webpage, user is to be logged out after xx minutes of inactivity 6. Similar to a webpage, a “remember me” option to override the auto logout function desired. 7. Error handling for improper connections or authentication required. 8. Create 2 sample forms where buttons are enabled or disabled depending on role or multiple roles and logon timers persist. 9. Document basic functions of the timers and logon functions. Table minimums (depending o the method chosen, additional fields may be required): • UserNumber (int) • UserName (nvarchar) • DisplayName (nvarchar) • Role1 (bit) • Role2 (bit) • Role3 (bit) • Role4 (bit) Project submission will be in an .accdb format. If using SQL as a backend, then .mdf, .ldf required as well any mapping required. All source code must be included as part of the scope. This may be the first of several projects, with multiple programmers being evaluated, so any documentation on the programming or why you chose a particular method to accomplish the goal will help in consideration for future projects.
