To generate the plots from the research paper, the freelance should:

1. Understand the equations of motion and derive them using multi-body analysis, specifically the Newton-Euler equations of motion.

2. Blade Element Theory applied on Quasi steady aerodynamic model

3. Be familiar with the periodic shooting method to locate periodic orbits.

4. Perform sensitivity analysis of the Floquet Multipliers.

5. Know how to use MATLAB's fmincon function for optimization studies.

6. Have a good understanding of Euler angles, which are used to describe the orientation and motion of the flapping-wing MAVs.

7. Extract data from the plots in the research paper using online free data extractors or dedicated software tools like PlotDigitizer.
