Greeting, I am a graduate electromechanical engineer, now I am an automotive electronic design. Versatile profile combining electronic/electrical and some hydraulics fields. As for modeling and simulation for most of my projects I count on Matlab scripting, Simulink and Simulink/Simscape. For you project I think it is mainly about floating field of PV and a hydro power systems coupled at a common substation, allowing for their operations to be co-optimized. It seem to be a good topic to make a research and create a value out of it. Dear, I am not a specialist in simulink, however I am in photovoltaic solar energy. I would like to have more details of the PV equipment to be used as MPPT trackers, inverters, etc. Also if your project is going to combine these systems from direct current or if the coupling will be from alternating current. And lastly, I don't quite understand why I would like to vary the hydroelectric generation according to the solar generation. It is much easier to do this in reverse with the same network analyzers compatible with the inverter (depending on brand and model obviously). If you wish, I would like to help you with your project.
