Chemical or Mining Engineer

I have 40 years in the mineral processing industry and have a bachelors degree in Metallurgy (Mineral Process Engineering) from the University of the Witwatersrand. My experience in flotation comes from having worked at Anglo Platinum and Billiton in production and consulting capacities. I received the Mintek silver medal for the development of a unique flotation system and have commissioned and operated many flotation plants for PGM, pyrite and gold and copper lead zinc recovery. In my role as chief process engineer at Eimco I was involved in the sizing and specification of their Wemco brand of equipment. As a freelance consultant I can off er my experience on flotation and many other unit processes. This service may extend to a review of current plant practice or operation, troubleshooting, and/or review of proposed flow sheet models.
