Hi,
I'm working in a web hosting company as a linux sysadmin for a several years now. I have optimized about hundred VPS/Dedicated servers for best performance running Magento stores (as we know it's very heavy CMS system).
I'm not a web developer and can't do much in the Magento software itself (except turning on caching mechanisms), but I could optimize your server a lot.
First of all, keep in mind that cPanel is not suitable for big performance optimization. So, if you want best optimized server, you may think of reinstalling the server without cPanel, which will give the ability to install optimized configs such as:
- Nginx web server
- PHP running as FPM (fastest)
- Central caching enabled
- MySQL optimized server for best performance with magento
Getting rid of cPanel, gives you the ability to use Nginx + php-fpm, which is the best performance orientated setup for Magento. You can read this in every magento server optimization blog you find.
If you need cPanel for managing your email accounts for example, you could migrate the email part of your site to some small cPanel based shared hosting account, I can help you with the split.
My proposal is the following:
For 200 euro (I didn't bid this money, cause you have down limit 250), I can do the following:
- Setup your new Centos based VPS with all the necessary things for running best optimized server for magento (Nginx, php-fpm, Opcache/APC, MySQL optimization)
- Migrate your site from your current cPanel
