Applescript, Quicktime & FCP Scripts

I will attempt to send you a version via a private message. The trimming of the video can be easily done by scripting QuickTime Player 7. I have embedded this app inside my script and tested it on a mac running 10.6.8 & 10.8. The part that I need to work on is ensuring that the fps are set to 25.
