Narrowboat and Logo Design - Revision

Project Summary: Our project entails designing and constructing a Narrowboat, "Priscilla Queen of the Canal," in preparation for our retirement in eight years, with the build process commencing in six years. We seek a versatile logo design for use in various applications, including sign writing on our narrowboat, website and social media branding, as well as potential merchandise. Scope of Work: The project demands the creation of a logo for diverse uses - social media platforms (including Facebook and YouTube), website banners and icons, and potentially for printable merchandise like mugs, pens, and jumpers. Brand Guidelines: Our brand draws inspiration from the iconic logo of "Priscilla Queen of the Desert." We aim to reimagine this logo, flipping the shoe and creatively incorporating the text "Priscilla" to form the shoe silhouette, with the letter "P" serving as the shoe heel. Creative Direction: We envision a modern, minimalistic design that will captivate audiences. While we have a general idea, we remain open to innovative suggestions and concepts that align with our vision. Design Instructions: Designers should consider providing design inspiration, colour palettes, typography, and imagery. We encourage the inclusion of other artwork examples for inspiration, relevance, or likeness to our project vision. Deadlines and Budget: Although there is no strict deadline, we'd appreciate a near-finished product by June 4th, in time for my husband's birthday. Our current budget is very modest. This isn't a business but a hobby, bit of fun, but we are open to discussing and agreeing on additional costs as the project progresses. Feedback Guidelines: We favor a collaborative process with multiple iterations, allowing us to provide feedback and make necessary changes for continual improvement of the artwork.
