java-script div refresh needed after Bootstrap Modal Window Close

I have a Bootstrap Modal Window that is launched via a Bootstrap button. This button has a label defined by a php variable i.e. <div id = "mybutton" ><button type="button" class="btn btn-info" data-toggle="modal" data-target="#myModal"><?php echo $ticket->progress; ?></button></div> The Modal content is an iFrame that launches an Ajax Chooser list. This list changes the value of $ticket->progress in the MySQL database ( directly inline insertion from within the iframe). What I need is to refresh the div "mybutton" to update the new value of "$ticket->progress". on the Modal close ...JUST the div and NOT the entire page. Thanks
