Netbeans, Maven

Hi, I want to set up netbeans on my laptop, and use maven to download and build an application that relies on external libraries. Once I've done this, I want to do some simple java programming to ensure the environment is all set up etc and I know how to use it etc so I'll need some help doing this also. There could be further work following this initial work. Update (I should have added this in the original post): The project I want to set up in NetBeans is here https://ec.europa.eu/digital-building-blocks/wikis/display/CEFDIGITAL/Digital+Signature+Service+-++DSS If anyone has experience working with electronic signatures and digital certificates then that would be useful, but it's not essential. Helping me set up the environment to use the DSS libraries referenced above and to do some simple coding myself with the libraries, maybe with a simple example project first is the main thing. My background is certs/signatures etc so I can explain what I want to do with the libraries etc, I posted this project earlier, but for some reason freelancer has closed the project (or I did that somehow) and I can't now see the bids that people put in earlier, so apologies for that.
