Java and bouncycastle encryption library

We are trying to use bouncycastle encryption library for J2ME. It seems to work but the issue is that encrypted string is 4-5 times larger then the original not encrypted data. Besides somehow it does not except key shorter then 32 bytes while it supposed to work with 16 bytes too. We tryed another bouncycastle library in Csharp and it does generate short encrypted strings and works with shorter 16 bytes key. So who can help us to solve this? Are we using it in wrong way or wrong classes. See attached eclipse project with our test case and complete bouncycastle library for j2me. We used only AESLightEngine part from it.
