We need urgently Java/J2ME programmer to work with us remotely
on hourly basis the next 6 days at least 5 hours a day.
Later this might become steady job for 20-30 hours a week.
No specific phone or j2me device knowledge is required but preferably knowledge of modems, AT commands and GSM/GPRS communication.
Job responsibilities will be:
1) Finishing 2 current j2me projects that need some testing,
debugging and fine tuning.
2) Programming and testing new J2ME software.
3) Making documentation for source code, drawing process diagrams and preparing other documentation.
Important requirements!
1) Work has to be done remotely on our test PC which
contains Eclipse environment and is connected to J2ME devices.
2) You need to have voice communication during the working hours
so we can communicate through skype.
Currently the projects are behind on schedule so
we really need some commitment on this one.
3) In order to work remotely we assume you have
at least 20-30KB/s internet connection.
4) We will also need to communicate by voice a lot.
So you need to be able to speak/understand either English or Russian.
Please state in your bid:
1) Your experience with Java and specifically with J2ME.
2) hourly rate (incl. RAC fee) for this short period and a
monthly rate if we going to work on steady basis.
We will start by accepting coder for one day work on this project and after that probably RAC bonusses.
3) At what days and time (CET) you can work in the next two weeks.
We prefer working hours either in the morning between 07:00 and 12:00 CET or in the evening between 17:00 and 23:30 CET. Mix is also possible.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
