Make my HTML sidebar work properly on .ASPX pages

This is a very simple project. I've bought a HTML/Javascript sidebar and tried implementing it on my .NET website - the sidebar works perfectly, but the links needs to change color (turn active), when I go to a chosen page. It works on HTML pages, but when I move the sidebar over to .ASPX pages, the links doesn't change color when I go to another page. (see attached screenshot) I spoke with the creator and he told me that he had used this procedure: [login to view URL] I will send you my .NET project and then you will have to make the sidebar active feature work on my .ASPX pages - the sidebar is installed on my Masterpage.
