Email Marketing + Website Content Manager Job Description Overview LvR Intelligence is looking for someone who can execute our content strategy on the website and our email marketing channel. We will provide much of the content and strategy to you. You will update the website with new blog posts, written by our authors, and manage the setup, scheduling, QA, and analysis of our email campaigns. Job Description There are two core components to this role which are equally important. 1. Updating the Blog with Content - Take a word doc from our blog writers - Update our blog templates with new text, images, links, and tweets in Wordpress - Update the main blog page with the new blogs ([login to view URL]) - Must have experience editing HTML. We have templates for you to use, but you will need to take a word doc and edit the HTML of our template to update the blog posting with new information. - Update our “News of the Day” pages o We will send you links to top stories from around the web. You will go to those sites, take the information, and update our “News of the Day” news aggregator pages with the content, images, and credit the source. 2. Managing the Email Campaigns - Update the email templates with the correct content o Links o Images o Copy o Subject Lines o From Address o Etc. - Setup campaigns so they deploy at the correct time - Setup campaigns to send to the correct lists within our ESP - Fully QA the experience so there are no broken links, spelling errors, issues with deployment, etc. - Ability to look at results from the campaign and recommend / make changes to improve performance - Ability to summarize and send daily statistics to key stake holders (Click through rate, Open rate, Unsubscribe rate, Bounce rate, Complaint rate) - Ability to run A/B tests to help us understand our audience Job Requirements - A data driven, experienced email marketing expert - Ability to update HTML templates and deploy them to the site - Extreme attention to detail - Take information and make updates to the website / email campaigns with little direction - Hit tight timelines. There is no room for slippage on updating the content - Clear communication to the leadership team
