Hi. Before I used VB for extending MS Office apps, but know yes it is advised to use javascript. My latest work was with translating and spell checking for a language not available from with MS Office. My advantage is that I am also a professional C++ programmer and can go beyond simple Javascript if it is not enough to solve the problem.
