Custom website : Not CMS : Lettors - Project Scope Project will be to create a website to offer a solution to Landlords (property owners) and Agents to list multiple properties and to have them as searchable by potential lettors (People looking for property to rent). They will also have the ability to manage their properties, attributing expenses, connecting to tenants (people renting the property) with feedback for properties and feedback for tenants. The difference between Agent and Landlord is that the Landlord can track costs/expenses of the property, the agent cannot as they work on behalf of the Landlord. Landlord and Agent can list properties. Normal user cannot. The landlord and agent will also be able to pay a premium via paypal to have their properties listed first in searches in a location (within 10 miles), highlighted and listed on the front page. The database's are simple, logins, user details, property details, expenses, availbility and tenants. (linked property to user, if user is a landlord user). More details to follow. The most important, technical, thing is to connect the property to a searchable grid that a lettor can find all properties within a radius from a location, eg. if a postcode or town is searched then the results will be shown around that area within the specified radius. (As well as, or, other factors such as price, number of rooms) This to me is a simple project, on the back end, but will like to have a very professional looking design as well. The project will first need to be designed by the winning bidder, to agree on the layout and manner of presentation, for which I have a few ideas, but am open to ideas. The next stage will be to show me the databases to be created and their reporting functions. After agreeing on the design and databases and reporting functions to each user, including myself as an admin user, implementation will begin. Included are files to look at for requirements.
