So it can be easily fixed by 1. descrease size of single photo and quality a little bit. we could filter it automaticly 80% quality 2. Use CDN to improve loading 3. optimize site to send less requests here is your score. Hello, So, you have 3 missing files on that page, (in fact just some extra spaces where there shouldn't be one) You have a LOT of images, that's why it loads slowly. ON my computer it took 15 seconds to load the page and nothing took more then needed, there are just many images (191 objects). You code also seems right. So are your server configurations. The main problem is that the server can't keep up serving that many files that quickly. This happens on your local machine as well, when you try to open photoshop for example. All those DLL's take time to load. Now imagine the same, but instead of just you opening Photoshop, there are 100 or 1000 people opening it at once....this happens on a shared server, even on a VPS (as the HDD is shared). To improve the speed, you should move to a host that supports SSD and has decent performance (higher price), or use CDN for the images.

Are you using JQuery AJAX to get the images? If you open your site in Chrome and turn on Timeline view you will see because of so many requests it is blocking them. It is too many hit on the server at the same time. It took 15sec in my PC to load the page. And maximum time taken by the images that is getting displayed as FilmStrip view. I think if you find another way of displaying those images or if you let me know how the images are coming, I will be able to help you in solving this. Are those static images or are they coming from database?
