Web & logo design for a small retail business

Candescent is an online retail store which aims to provide eco-friendly, stylish and unique candles with fragrances that people of all ages will enjoy. A designer is needed to help develop a logo and website design for the business. This could be a fantastic opportunity for someone to create a really beautiful and stylish design for their portfolio, working in consultation with someone with a strong background in the Visual Arts. Job Description: This role involves designing branding and a website for use in Joomla 1.5. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of design principles and show creativity in their work. They must have experience editing and/or developing Joomla templates and be able to ensure compatibility across multiple browsers ie. firefox, IE, safari and google chrome. For the right person, this could become an ongoing role as designs may be needed for packaging and product labels at a later stage. Personal Qualities: Hard working, professional, can keep to deadlines, good English communication skills (however does not need to be a native speaker), flexible, honest and creative.
