I'm creating a 13-week program aimed at students ranging from slightly above beginners to advanced levels. The curriculum encompasses tools and workflows such as VS Code, Git workflows, GitHub components, and Github codespaces, culminating with several practical projects.
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Research & Fact-checking**: Validate technical content against authoritative sources and official documentation for accuracy.
2. **Course Development**: Upon selection, the course outline will be shared. Your primary role is to enhance this outline by identifying gaps and suggesting improvements.
3. **Feedback & Collaboration**: Offer an external perspective, considering the content from both beginner and advanced learner viewpoints. Point out gaps or potential overlaps.
4. **Language Proficiency**: Must comprehend a British English accent for voice notes.
5. **Technical Formatting**: Proficiency in markdown for content arrangement is crucial. A grasp of PowerPoint layouts would be an added advantage.
**Essential Qualities**:
- Keen eye for detail.
- Prioritizes quality over quantity.
- Proficient in sourcing and referencing data.
- Aptitude to assimilate technical content related to VS Code, Git workflows, GitHub components, and codespaces. No need for expertise, but you should be comfortable navigating and interpreting technical manuals and references.
- Strong communication skills.
**Quality Over Quantity**:
I prioritize quality. I want someone who delivers high-grade feedback and insights, not just bulk content. While the quality is the benchmark, other factors like volume and speed will be evaluated once the quality is confirmed.
**Note**:
- This posting is shared with three candidates initially. Based on evaluations, one will be chosen for a longer-term collaboration, contingent upon course proposal approval.
- Expected time commitment: Roughly 12 hours. Payment is fixed and will be processed after completion. The deadlines are generous, but punctuality is a must. For reference, it would take me, as a subject expert, approximately 6-7 hours to polish the outline. However, take the time you need to ensure excellence.

Design work isn't a part of this role; templates and images for lessons are already decided. Your task will involve laying out text aptly for the content, deciding on bullet point text, and drafting speaker notes. If you suggest graphics, provide original links since our designer will need to recreate them due to copyright considerations.
For the first task, it would be beneficial to spread your work hours across several days, allowing periodic feedback to optimize the process. Once we've established a rhythm, I hope to trust your judgment and anticipate final delivery without intermediate checks.
