Need experienced Game/Animation Jquery front-end for Interactive Story Game

We are working on an interactive story (web application, optimized for tablet) similar overall to the game Anka below to teach social skills to kids who have autism: [login to view URL] Their are embedded games within the overall game (the overall game is like a simple 2d RPG, but mostly exploratory like Anka), things like simple arcade basketball, air hockey, goal keeper soccer, simple drag/drop "lego" building blocks, a race car game, asteroids, tic tac toe, very similar in complexity(animation, simple AI), to these games online: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Some simple drag/drop mini-games for reading faces/having a conversation will also be embedded throughout the overall game. *There are simple mouth animations when characters talk as well. Mostly kids move from screen to screen by clicking on decision buttons based on the scenario they are presented with. The game keeps track of decisions they make and adapts the text displayed when characters talk and the scenes that come up accordingly. The front end is very JavaScript/Jquery intensive, Backbone.js is being used right now (that could change). HTML, CSS of course, the basics as well. Its a WEB application optimized for Ipad/other tablet platforms, we're not interested in Ios-Xcode/Android SDK's specifically. The Alpha App has been programmed already, so that code is available, and also the program itself. The comments are in Spanish, by mistake, so we'd have to get a translator before someone read that code. The database is in Rails/postgreSQL. We want to program this next version so it is extensable, and dynamically creates scenes instead of hard coding them (it does this already to an extent), as we will be adding a lot of content after the prototype and thus extensability is a major issue. Illustrations are done by our illustrator. We're looking for a great Jquery Front End Programmer who is great at making games/mouth animations/animations and can integrate these mini games into our existing code and add our additional scenes/features to our current story code on github. If you have full stack experience, that's even better (Ruby/Rails), but not required. You may be working with a separate back end programmer though if you don't have back end experience. Our engine seems to be pretty good, so we hope to add features but keep it the same, and not recode everything. The project manager you will be working with is familiar with programming and all the languages being used and has some game animation experience. *Please look at the links posted at the front to see if you can make us a game which overall is similar to Anka, and importantly if you can make the sports mini games (basketball, air hockey, etc.), mouth animations we listed as well. If you made games you want to license to us, that is fine, you don't need to make anything from scratch if its already made. *This contract will be for an extended period, so you should be available to work for a few months, 20-40 hours/week.
