Cordinates from a file to excel to surface area calculation with excel

I have a fml file that has cordinates of an surface area in the code it self. I need excel to do a lookup and find the cordinates of a certain color surface area. once the cordinates are in excel i need to calculate the surface of the area in m2 .(surface areas that need to be calculated are not always square/rectangle surface) here is a part of the code of a simple rectangle surface in a fml file (FML file in attachement) <type>generated_area</type> <layer>0</layer> <color>#F2D8B0</color> <points>-3.011 0.787 0.000 -3.011 2.487 0.000,-3.011 2.487 0.000 3.991 2.487 0.000,3.991 2.487 0.000 3.991 0.787 0.000,3.991 0.787 0.000 -3.011 0.787 0.000</points> This project has been completed but there are still some tasks with the exel file........you have to complete the tasks and price is fixed $10 as these might take hardly 1.5 hours if you have proper knowledge (No negotiation) .....
