Hello, I'm Yulia, a freelancer from Ukraine. Usually I work as a translator, but data entry and processing are also my areas of interest.
My career began from the position of secretary and translator in an international electrotechnical company. But soon I was promoted to the position of personal assistant to general director that also included functions of translator, interpreter, office manager, travel manager and even communications manager of the Ukrainian office of the company. After my 2.5 year maternity leave I came back to position of personal assistant to Local Head of Low Voltage department. Not only translation but also other professional duties have enriched my experience. I arranged business trips, prepared financial and legal documents (reports, contracts, invoices), translated, edited and proofread marketing materials, created presentations on various topics (sales, Ukrainian economy, industrial manufacturing etc.), dealt with business partners from Ukraine, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Sweden. And I also made research work and data management for different reports.
I also would like to mention that together with my husband we have a family business - small internet shop. So I know how to deal with product information not in theory, but on practice.
I am new here because I recently has left my main job to be on my maternity leave. So I am now a freelancer working from home. My first project on oDesk hasn't ended yet, so I haven't received a feedback
