iPad CSS placement PIN + html5 animation

Hi All, We currently working on a custom map (for Ipad) integrated on a Phonegap application. On this MAP we need to place two "pins" (like on Google Map) : The latitude and longitude coordinates range from -180 to 180 each. That's 360 coordinates in each direction. (We don't have to get more specific than that.) Given those coordinates (provided in our Backoffice), it seems to me that a simple algorithm could translate that into x- and y-coordinates on the map. The map size is 1024x768 in iPad Version and 2048x1536 in Retina version. Also we need an HTML5 animation as a plane flying between this 2 points. If the two points are too close no animation is required. Let me know if you have any question ! Alex.
