I need a simple work to be done in a JavaScript file I'm working on. It must make a web request, FETCH message and show them inside a <div>, and another section for sent messages. Backend is working in Django. I just need one file to be updated, everything else is already done. I need this to be as simple as possible, I'd like comments on the code so I can understand, if not an explanation of why the work has been done in that way. Maybe later I will add some more features.
