In table1 (see attached file) there are the trajectories of some animals. You have to write a python software that look in the table the the date and the our and search in this website for the corresponding raster plot of the wind in the region North atlantic in that data: [login to view URL] both GRID DATA and VECTOR DATA Wind, NCDC Blended, 0.25 degree, Global, Speed Than you have to extract the wind along the animal trajectories using Qgis or some other free software that can interpret gis raster plot. All the code must be well commented in english in order to be easy to understand and to change.
