I am applying because I have worked both in the broadcast television field for decades, including quality control, as well as with digital file transfer, and programming. If you chat with me, I can attach my resume to prove it.
Since 1990 I've worked in a Master Control position for a cable channel. That requires QC'ing all video sources that we receive for dropouts, digitizing problems (tiling), correct aspect ratio (3:4 or 16:9), correct frame rate, etc. Many video files that appear on the web are not suitable for broadcast, and I am tried to identify those issues. I have transferred files through many uploading services (such as Box, Dropbox), and through many formats (such as MPEG, DV). Now, I am based in the United States, so I am trained on US broadcast standards, not other countries.
In other programming work, I have not only worked with but created databases in Java and SQL, and in VBA in Access and Excel. I have certainly done plenty of data entry in Excel and Access. Though I have not worked with FileMaker per se, I have worked with many similar products.
Please let me know what the actual flow is: whether you want videos QC'd, transcoded, and uploaded, or if videos are already uploaded and you want them QC'd, and data entry about the contents. And the time frame you are looking for. We can decide on milestones. I'll do a first milestone for initial work for $50 to see if I'm working to your satisfaction.
I am looking forward to working with you.
