I am compiling a list of contact information for bloggers. I am starting with a list of 2500-3000 websites. The list is in Microsoft Word. Each item on the list is the name of a website, hyperlinked to the underlying URL. Approximately 80% of these websites are blogs belonging to individuals; the rest are news sites like The New York Times or Time Magazine. At this point, I am not sure which are which. I need someone to go through this list, visit each website, and do the following: (1) Determine if the website is a person's blog – or a blog run by a small group of people, which is okay for me as well – or whether it's a news site or some other kind of site. If the site is NOT a “personal blog” (or a “group blog”), then the website is to be deleted from my list. (2) If the website IS a blog, then you must make a quick determination of what KIND of blog it is. I am NOT interested in blogs about celebrities, gossip, Information Technology, other technology, gadgets, blogging, making money online, humor, pornography, sports, or design. All these kind of websites are to be removed from my list. (3) This will leave a list of blogs run by either individuals or small groups of people, on the subject of either news or business or politics or the economy or current events. For each of these blogs, I need you to find the name and email address of the blogger. (This information is usually listed on the front page of the blog, or in a section called “Contact” or “About Us.” Sometimes the word “Email” appears with the person's email address hyperlinked to it.) For each blog, I need the following information filled in in a table in Microsoft Word: Name of Blog URL Blogger's First Name Blogger's Last Name Blogger's Email Address Note that some blogs have multiple authors (bloggers). (If you can't find this information pretty quickly for a given blog, just leave the entry blank and move on to the next one. It isn't vital that I have the information for absolutely every single blog if the contact information is not easily findable.) The winner will be hired for 4 hours as a test, and paid for their work during that time. If I am satisfied with the amount of work completed in that period, I will continue with that same person in 4-hour increments. If I am not satisfied, then I will pay that person for their time worked and then select a new provider for another 4 hour test, and so on. So when you bid, PLEASE BID FOR FOUR HOURS OF WORK. If we continue together after the first 4-hour period, you will be paid one quarter of that amount for each hour you work. Payment will be paid either directly by Paypal or by Moneygram. These are the ONLY two payment choices. If you cannot accept one of these payment methods, please do not bid for this job. Good luck!
