Write an itinerary/guide to your hometown

I can do a really good guide for Seattle and the surrounding area. I'd be thinking having the main focus on Seattle itself, but can include stuff like day trips out of the city (for the example, The Skagit Tulip Festival, just north of Seattle). I also know the best places to eat that locals keep a secret and could do you a "10 Places to eat in Seattle on a budget" I'm a Brit, but I lived in Seattle for the last 20 years. I'm currently in the UK and if you liked my work, I could do a few city guides for places over here (London, Edinburgh etc.) I have availability right now (being a newbie to the this site) and could have you copy within a day. I have some questions. What sort of word count are you expecting for each city?, and could I also see a link to your blog if it's up and running yet. Regards Paul

From environmental activist to Opera Singer to mother and disability survivor, my life has been a colorful array of ever changing careers and creative experiences. Yet with every profession I've undertaken there has always been one unifying element: writing! When I worked as an environmental activist I was constantly rewriting my "rap". As an opera singer working for a nonprofit one of the many hats I wore was "writer". I assisted with grant proposals, publicity blurbs, production descriptions, newspaper announcements, fundraisers, donor letters, and advertising emails and blogs. More recently, while temporarily immobile recovering from surgery, I began blogging, mostly political posts, the presidential primary a particular focus of mine. Currently, I write for a variety of different industries and services and have written reviews, informational blogs, advertisement blogs, persuasion articles, opinion pieces, and travel blogs. My hometown is San Francisco, and I know of many hidden gems throughout the city that tourists often miss. There are certainly more than enough to fill at least a weeks visit in the city itself. Seeing SF through a native's perspective can take visitors to the heart of the city in a way that can't be experienced simply through scenic tourist sights and sounds alone, of which there are also plenty to see . I hope to get a chance to write about the true San Francisco experience for your project and I look forward to hearing from you!
