Hi, I have worked with ATTiny84A before and I can create code for your project. I will use Atmel Studio version that you prefer. I have some test boards with ATTiny84A on them, although not every pin is easily available. I can as well get new ATTiny84A to test code on bread board. You mentioned that you wish to use pin 3 of PORTB that is normally a RESET pin. It is possible to disable RESET function on this pin and use it as input /output but that will require use of high voltage programmer to write any new code afterwards. It should be possible to use up to four Timer based hardware PWM signals on ATTiny84A but choice of PWM pins is fixed. However, it is also possible to create PWM signals by using Timer interrupts and toggling any other pin. Best regards and let me know if you have any questions.
