here goes the beginning of the poem, and I send you the rest after proposal is accepted. I hope you like it even though I don't feel worthy of writing about a problem I have never been through as a white girl. I did like the topic.
I apologise to you, cop,
if my skin color is a threat
to the prejudices of your badge.
If the way I walk, the way I dress
makes you think you can suspect
whether I robbed, whether I meth.
I beg your pardon, sir.
I wanted to walk by my neibourhood
I know the houses are not as good
as the mansions in hollywood.
But lemme tell you, man
this is where I dwell, where I stand.
Good folk are here, respect.
Oh wait! What have I done?
You can't just hold to me like that.
Would you do it to some judge's son?
Would you beat some wealthy brat?
