Building a front end and Interactive Visual analytics interface

The project needs an expert front end programmer with a background in visual analytics and interaction design. Singular Intelligence is an Artificial Intelligence software company backed by Oxford University and InnovateUK, the UK Innovation agency. We are now hiring for a very exciting role of Senior Front-end developer to work with our team, The end-user application augments the Senior Business decision-makers with interactive, dynamic, predictive visual analytics and simulation capabilities using a backend AI engine. The role of the front end developer is to make the AI-based advanced analytics live in the interaction layer. You will work with UX and Visual analytics designers as well as technical and business teams. Role and Responsibility •Will setup front end environment on Linux environment for both production and development •Able to code as per design standard using a combination of React, Angular and Node components •Will do the Unit test and Integrated test •Work with UX Designer in close cooperation developing front end •Make changes to code based on feedback •Maintain/modify existing frontend screens •Maintain versions of code on git •Write codes to directly access backend database based on the requirements Skills and Experience •4 to 8 years experience •d3js, Nodejs (0.10.0 and Above), Passport •JSON, CSS & SASS stylesheets •HTML & Cross Filter library, Lodash library •Karma (0.12.9) jade2js preprocessor •React JS •Angular JS •Angular 1.5.0, Bower (1.8.4), Grunt (0.4.4) •Ability to understand and modify code written in older versions of Angular JS (using class-based components) •Maybe required to rewrite existing Angular JS code using modern component directives, at a later stage •Mongo DB, Querying databases, preferably SAP Hana (e.g.: using hdb) •Knowledge of (or basic experience in) Linux, GitHub, Databases, Cloud
