Face Recognition system on raspberry pi

This project is related to home automation and in this home security system a raspberry pi will be used. It has four modules, First module is facial recognition module that will recognize the person that is standing at the entrance of the house. Our algorithm will recognize and compare the face of the person with faces already enrolled in the system. The house members will be enrolled in the system. After recognizing the person using facial recognition module, access to entrance will be decided with input from the owner. In the notification module, an application will be developed for smartphones (Android) which will be connected with raspberry pi system. The system will send a notification after taking the picture of the person who is standing at the entrance of the house. Notification can be sent against two cases. The first case will be if a house member is seeking entrance, then simple notification will be generated to the owner’s smartphone application. In the Second case, if the person is unknown (not enrolled) then notification will be sent along with the picture of the person to the owner for granting him access. It will be up to the owner if he/she grants access or not.
