OK, So I make my apps with MDM Zinc and want to change to Adobe AIR. With Zinc I can load a .swf file and have the loaded .swf collect VARs from the main swf that loaded it. Example (var testVar:string = (MovieClip([login to view URL])).testVar) I can get as many vars as I need fro the main files and it works great. In AIR it throws an error when I try to collect them this way. So, how do I make this work with Adobe AIR Example I have a main app. It has 10 string vars, the loaded swf reads these vars and also needs to read them every one second (as they change all the time from the main app) Example Main App var S1:String = “A”; var S1:String = “B”; var S1:String = “C”; And so on Loaded swf On a timer – Every one second var testVar:string = (MovieClip([login to view URL])).S1 trace(S1) var testVar:string = (MovieClip([login to view URL])).S2 trace(S2)

Hi, Can you give me the source, so I can check it? I think there is a parent child mismatch. Thanks.
