Create CSS Drop Shadow Around DIV and Small Wordpress Help

I need the main div (the container that holds all of the content) to have a drop shadow that looks like the one at the following website:

I prefer for it to be done with CSS but if you have a different (or better) solution, please let me know in your bid request.

I also need a solution to have the internal pages expand to include the sidebar boxes without affecting the main page. (Using "min-height" in the CSS will work as long as it does not affect the home page.)
