I need a theme on my blog to be customized then activated.

The name of the theme in the wordpress content files is called custommimbo 1.0
There is a different theme active on the site right now because I want to complete customization on the custommimbo 1.0 before I activate it.
Tasks:
[url removed, login to view] the "trending story" area to look exactly like the mockup. (I realize the page may need to be widened a bit. But it is important that I have the image and article snippet and the author info on the bottom.)
2. customize the recent post area to appear exactly like it does in the theme.
3. Make sure that the categories column on the left is functioning properly.
Leave the column on the right just as it is.
I will provide the ftp info once bid is accepted.
