Need a talented architect/developer to complete the buildout of 1st few? webpages and a corresponding admin panel and earn the opportunity for more work. This web page will be the entry point to the website and will allow users to search for a product or a store in a particular city via a search bar, via a top ten list, and via guided navigation. Importantly the user can filter the top ten list by different store and product attributes (product size, quality, price, location, etc.). Additionally the user can vote for a featured product or a store or share comments with others via some standard social networking interface. I'm expecting that this could be database intensive, so I'd prefer someone with MySQL expertise.
In terms of the admin panel, admin will be able to configure the webpage and data - add, update, delete products and stores, import/export data, etc.
The entire application will be written in LAMP (Linux, Apache, PHP, and MySQL).
The code should be clean, tested, and documented, and easily extensible to support the additonal pages of the website and enhancements to functionality (adding an attribute for the product or store for example). The database schema should optimize performance. Also the webpage should be constructed so that it easily plugs into social networks (Facebook, etc.).
The graphical page design of this page has already been completed.
