Browser interaction proof-of-concept (javascript / DHTML / CSS effect) #2

I want a prototype of some user interaction. This can be pretty quick and dirty asthetically, I just want a proof of concept for the interaction.

- I want a snippit of code that I can include in the sidebar of a typepad blog (the yellow spot in [url removed, login to view]). Basically I want the thing you write to reside on one server, but I want to copy and paste in a div <SCRIPT...>link or an iframe <IFRAME...>link, whatever you need, into the my typepad blog.

- When you click this, I want it to expand and cover most of the page ([url removed, login to view])

- I want the entire page beneath this layer to completely dim (or grey out). (also in [url removed, login to view])

- When I one of the links in this new layer, I want the URL to change so that if I bookmark the page it will come back to it. If I reload the bookmarked URL, I want this yellow layer expanded out and the same entry selected, exactly as it was when I bookmarked it. ([url removed, login to view])

All of this needs to work cross-browser. All modern browsers should should render it the same way.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

I figure the program will probably just be HTML / CSS / javascript, so the server software doesn't really matter. My real concern is that it works in all modern browsers and looks the same in all browsers.
