ActiveX component for USB scale

I am in need of an ActiveX component that can retrieve a weight value from a Mettler Toledo PS60 parcel shipping scale.? ?

This component will need to? display a value on a web page from this USB scale when a user clicks on a from button.

I am in need of an ActiveX component that can retrieve a weight value from a Mettler Toledo PS60 parcel shipping scale.

This scale is USB based and is a general purpose scale that has generic support within windows.

The idea for this project is as follows:

1. Page loads.

2. Page includes a input form field and a button.

3. When the user clicks on the button a value is retrieved from the ActiveX component with the weight value that is generated from the scale.

4. If the user clicks on the button again the previous value will be overridden with the new value.

I would prefer that the component be written in C# or VB.net but if not possible I will accept any other language.

If written in .net the framework support should be with which ever version of the framework that is shipped with windows vista and above.

The project will need to include the following for the finished product.

1. An ActiveX component that can work within windows XP, Vista, windows 7.

2. Work within versions of IE from XP and up.

3. A generic HTML page that includes a working copy of the form field and button that can retrieve the value from the component.

I can include some PDF files and links to info about this USB scale but I have not been able to find any available source code. I have not tried contacting the manufacturer about source code availability but they might make it available on request if needed.
