Converting American Sign Language Gesture to voice

My Project is based on American Sign language gesture recognition using HMM modem and then output should be a voice which is related to that gesture. So First thing is input, it will be the sign performed using hand gesture and facial expression and in a video which will give a real time [url removed, login to view] should be 5FPS. Then through image processing we do the feature extraction which removes the background of the image and provides and output as main features this portion we can implement through matlab or by any other thing. Then we have to have use HMM model which takes the feature extraction from previous part and do gesture classification from the features provided as input. Then the gesture classification can be compared with the database which contains the gesture classified image or something like that and related voice. As soon as the gesture is matched the related voice should come out . No specific programming language required. Programmer can complete this project in any language he/she wants.
