The design idea
The image of a shaman depicted as shackled, hung on a stake, and left to die would certainly encapsulate the theme of the novel. It symbolizes the idea that for humans to fully embrace their agency and take control of their destiny, they must break free from the constraints of superstition and outdated beliefs represented by the shaman.
