Contest Brief

I am looking to create product labels for a cleaning product range.

The brand name and logo will be supplied.

NOTE: WE ONLY NEED ONE OF THE LABELS CREATED AS AN EXAMPLE OF THE DESIGN, WE WILL CREATE THE REST OF THE LABELS OURSELVES BASED ON THE WINNING DESIGN!

The products in this range are as follows:
Heavy Duty Degreaser
Liquid Soap
Pin Disinfectant
Window Cleaner
Lemon Dishwash
Spray and Wipe
Automatic Dishwashing Liquid
Rinse Aid

All these products will need to have labels that are measuring 150mm (high) x 220mm (wide), plus 3 mm bleed.

The labels will all need to look the same with the only difference being the wording (for example the product name, description, directions, and first aid)

All wording that is to be changed between labels will need to be in black writing.

The information to be included in the label for the purpose of this design will be as follows:

Brand name = Vital Clean
Product name = "Pine Disinfectant"
Short description = "All-Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner for walls, floors, toilets, baths and showers."
Long description = "Pine Disinfectant is a QAC based, all-purpose disinfectant cleaner with a pleasant pine fragrance. It can be used on walls, floors, toilets, baths, showers, laundry and all washable working surfaces. Pine Disinfectant is safe to use on polymer-coated floor surfaces and controls common bacteria."
Directions = "For hard surfaces dilute 1:80 (125mls in 10L water). For laundry pre-soak dilute 1:160 (65mls in 10L water)."
Cautions = "Avoid contact with eyes."
First aid = "Prevent contact with skin and eyes. Should this occur, eyes should be flushed well with water for at least 15 minutes, then obtain medical attention. If swallowed contact a Doctor or Poisons Information Centre immediately. DO NOT induce"
Manufactured for = "ABC Company Limited, 111 Main Street, Auckland, 3403"

The labels must also have "CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN" across the top of each label.

Attached is an image of the container the labels will need to go on to as well as two examples of over printed labels in the same range. These labels are used by another brand so they CANNOT look like this or even similar.

Label also needs to have room for a barcode.

PSD and/or AI and/or Indesign files for label and any other links will need to be provided in the final delivery. Please note that we would prefer the labels in Adobe Indesign (.INDD format)

The results of this contest will also influence us on which freelancer we use for further projects.
