I need some design work doing for a small (initially) e-commerce website.
The design is for a site selling bespoke tailoring (suits/shirts) to visitors based in the UK. I want something that is pretty clean and contemporary looking. It would be great if it was quite similar to [login to view URL]
We are still developing the logo, but there should be room for it in the template (as demonstrated in the file ‘template [login to view URL]’). We have decided on the colours though ??" these are given in ‘[login to view URL]’. Please base the design around these colours (and any other complimentary colours you think suitable).
For the design, a clean, table-less layout without unnecessary images is essential.
## Deliverables
DELIVERABLES
Page designs coded in HTML and CSS with all referenced images for the following:
1 An overall page layout template for the whole site (see attached file ‘template [login to view URL]’
2 Inner parts for the template including:
a A home page template displaying welcome heading, welcome text (can be lorem ipsum)
b A product list page: displaying the products in a 4-column table layout with the product image, title and price
c A product detail page, displaying the product title, a description, price and an ‘add to basket’ button.
3 Other miscellaneous styles including:
- A simple table-based form layout (i.e. label and text box per row)
- A simple button link style I can use in places like ‘add to basket’ (These can go on the home page template if you like)
In addition to this I would like the original mockups as PSD files (or whatever graphics package you use.
MOCKUPS
My client is interested in seeing the designs before they are converted into HTML. Therefore as an initial deliverable I would like to see at least 2 variations on the homepage template as standard jpg/gif/png images. I would obviously pay for the time spent producing these even if I decide not to commission the full job in the end so please indicate in your bid the cost of the initial mockups.
Ideally bidders should have a portfolio of work for me to take a look at. If you don’t have a significant portfolio, I would probably prefer to agree on a reduced rate for the initial mockups so I know that the work will be done to a good standard.
Other requirements:
- CSS and non-tables based layout
- Conformant HTML (at least 4.1, preferably XHTML)
- Not completely reliant on images
Feel free to ask any questions as you require.
