Multi-Vendor Marketplace Ecommerce Platform

The project involves evaluation and analysis of the right Platform, Technology and Plugins to implement the multi-vendor ecommerce platform. As part of the project, expectation is to provide a table showing a comparative guidance on the right SaaS ecommerce platform, all Plugins/extensions, need for customizations and Pricing of the platforms/plugins. The project involves building a multi-vendor ecommerce marketplace using popular SaaS ecommerce platforms (such as Wordpress, Shopify, Woocommerce etc). Following are very high level business features 1. Customer should be able to search for the product/service near to his area (use geolocation) and make an order from one of the available vendors - Customer should make decision based on rates, ratings and proximity of the vendor location 2. Vendors shall be to manage their products and services, and maintain rates. 3. Admin of the marketplace will be able to approve/reject vendors onboarding on the platform. 4. For each transaction, admin can collect commission/charges. The % charge can be configured for each vendors, and modified (if needed) at product levels as well. 5. Customer can provide ratings for the services procured and give review comments. 6. Customer can also book online appointments with certain service providers (vendors). The online appointment will involve sharing google meet link to customer and the vendor. 7. Implement all Standard Ecommerce modules such as User management, Order, Payment, Discounts, coupons, Referrals 8. Maintain User/customers Groups so that certain special offers & discounts can be given for each member of a given user group.
