Our client has a WordPress storefront that needs multiple bugs fixed, and also needs to replace the current shipping plugin with one that provides their specific functionality needs. We are looking for a very experienced and professional WordPress developer who has specific experience in eCommerce (Woo Commerce). The site was developed by another WordPress developer and has several minor issues that need to be fixed, as well as the new shipping functionality that is needed. About the site: The client has a multi-vendor eCommerce platform that allows multiple different vendors to sell products with a single shopping cart, similar to Etsy. Our company (Shiny Creek) is a custom software development company, and is very used to working with overseas contractors, but we do not have WordPress skills in house (we use Ruby on Rails, React, etc.). What we can offer is to be a very effective project manager for this, helping the client write proper requirements and provide testing and QA. What we expect of you: We would like to work with someone who is: • Very experienced in WordPress and eCommerce. • Knows how to use Trello for basic task management, or willing to learn it (it's not hard). • Can communicate (text) very well in English using Skype. We will not ask you to talk with us over audio, just text. • Can commit at least 20 hours a week to this until we get this project complete. We would prefer to work with a software developer - meaning that you have experience in actual programming languages, not just configuring WordPress. There is no coding requirement (at this time) for custom plugins or PHP, but we are used to working with programmers. We also have other clients that need help with complex WordPress applications. If you work well with this project we will send you more work if you like working with us.
