INTRODUCTION: We are looking to convert the attached PDF templates into html pages. This will eventually be hosted on the Adobe Business Catalyst platform which can easily handle the ecommerce requirements. At this stage we are looking for five HTML templates consisting of: 1. Home Template 2. Default Template 3. Shop Template 4. Shop – Item Template 5. Form Template MAIN MENU: There will need to be a JavaScript based main menu with the following structure: o Home o Buy Online o FAQ o Media Coverage o Information Warranty Registration Order Acceptance Download Shipping Information Security Guarantee o Contact Us Each main menu heading should have the ability to have sub items in the form of a dropdown list (although ‘Information’ is the only heading using this function at present). BLOG TICKER: The “blog ticker” can be coded as a static list item as we can insert a live blog into this space. The style of the ticker should be coded with static content (although it does not need to scroll for the purposes of these templates if overly complicated). ONLINE SHOP: The online shop does not need to be fully functional but needs to be fully styled with ‘Buy now’ links intended to click through the ‘Shop Item’ page for that item. WEB FORM: The contact us form does not need to be fully functional but needs to be fully styled to work through our CMS system. It should be laid out as a form using normal <FORM> fields. STRUCTURE: All pages should be styled using CSS style sheets – a large part of the content is repeated on each template. Any images can be supplied to required dimensions if needed. The website should be 950 pixels wide and use the Trebuchet family of fonts. It needs to work on all browsers without issue. CONCLUSION: We have an extensive knowledge of both CSS and HTML and are looking for the code to be as ‘clean’ as possible. All layouts and styles should be possible using CSS coding through the use of stylesheets rather than inline styles or html styles – html code should be kept to a minimum.
