I am building an asp.net membership loyalty web application with vb.net behind. On the page to calculate a member's maximum discount allowed based on available points, I want a javascript equation and code to do some conditional calculations based on the following rules 1) Member cannot get discount which is greater than his points. 2) I can set a percentage of the member's discount to use 3) No round trips for the page. All codes must be client side. Here is the equation: If Invoice total >= Current Point Then Discount = Current Point Else If Invoice Total < Current Points Then Discount = Invoice Total See I dont want to reload the page so I Choose Javascript but my code not working. If you can get AJAX to work without a round trip then fine. Maybe update panel with a server side procedure to calculate the form controls Look at my asp.net page and screenshot for more details
