This is a multi user web application that allows the configuration of Jobs to be executed on dynamically configured data-sources on a manual or scheduled basis.
FUNCTIONS
User
- the application will be multi user and support basic username/password authentication methods.
- users will be assigned to roles which determine which functions they will have access to, and which reports they are allowed access to
- the application should be able to send email reports to user email groups which are linked to specific users
Jobs
➔ jobs can be created/edited/deleted
◆ a query string will be required to be defined
◆ a job type will be required
◆ if job is scheduled, a schedule cron string is required
◆ parameters can be optionally defined on the job
➔ jobs can be executed manually and:
◆ viewed in browser with option to download
◆ downloaded to file location defined
◆ emailed as attachment or in body
◆ import from excel file to insert or update records
- jobs can be scheduled for:
◆ download to a location
◆ process
◆ emailed as attachment or in body
Datasources
➔ datasources can be created/edited/deleted
◆ these can then be linked to jobs for execution
